Updated Shop

The CWB Welding Foundation gave us a grant this year to upgrade our welders in the shop and buy a CNC machine.  We greatly appreciated the support.  Information about the CWB welding foundation is below.

The Capital Equipment and Consumables Fund was established to support the advancement of welding programs by ensuring safe, high-quality equipment and learning environments are available to students in secondary welding and related technology programs across Canada. Since 2013, CWBWF has invested more than $3.5 million in upgrading school welding shops, with nearly $5.9 million in co-investment from educational and industry partners, for a total investment of more than $9.4 million.

School District #60 is proud to work with partners like the CWB Welding Foundation to help our learners to work safely, use industry approved techniques, materials, and tools.
