On January 23 a number of grade 8 and 9 students attended the Jr. Skills Competition in Dawson Creek, put on by Skills Canada BC. Two grade 9 students attended the Women in Trade seminar, seven grade 9 students attended the Try a Trade portion of the event and five grade 8 students participated in the Spaghetti Bridge Building Competition.

Prespatou – Public Calendar!!!
We have now created a Prespatou Public Calendar on our webpage with events that students and parents will want to know about. All the different activities taking place at the school, holidays, reporting periods AND when to expect report cards to come home.
PAC Upgrades to Prespatou School
It has been an exciting and busy summer at Prespatou School. The PAC worked very hard at removing the old, rotting boards from the rink so that it is safe to use again. The PAC also worked at repairing/refurbishing our school ball diamonds.
Fantastic News!!!!! School is BACK!!!!
I am excited to post that school will be starting on MONDAY September 22, 2014. Monday will be a normal shortened opening day. Full day instruction for most programs commences Tuesday.
School Starts: 9:00 am
9:00: All students and staff go to the gym for a school-wide assembly
9:20: All K-7 students will go with to their last years teachers home rooms.

Back to school is usually a time that everyone looks forward to with some anticipation. SD 60 staff have traditionally worked very hard to ensure that schools are ready for students the first Tuesday after Labour Day.
